Learning branding from Porsche: Why 911 meters are more than just a number

Learning branding from Porsche: Why 911 meters are more than just a number

911 meter style. 🏎️

911 meters. Of course.

Porsche could also have written 900 - but that would be like coffee without caffeine. 👀

We all know that this number is no coincidence, but identity in its purest form. A brand code that has long since triggered more emotion than pure information. And that's exactly what we want in branding.

Our brain loves repetition. When we think of "911", we no longer think of math or the US emergency number, but of German automotive art and iconic brand identity.

Fun Fact: The sign hangs in Mannheim, at our customer Porsche Center Mannheim. Well done, friends!

🔥 Your inspiration for the start of the week

What do you repeat so consistently that it happens almost unconsciously? When you find it, you have your branding gold: the element that creates recognition - without a logo.
