Optimal product photos: Sell more with images

Optimal product photos: Sell more with images

Your product photos? Selling - or just there?

Hey branding friends,

Product photos? Sure, everyone has them.
But the question is: do your photos sell - or do they just exist?

Good product photos are not just a nice extra. They are one of the biggest sales levers you have.
Because they not only show what your product is - but why people want it immediately.

And since we started offering in-house photography, a lot of things have become even clearer to me.

💡 Case Study: Sari Curls

For Sari Curls, we shot photos for their first own products that do just that: sell.

You see the packaging and feel it immediately: clean, soft, sophisticated - a feeling of self-care that you treat yourself to. That does you good. And as a special feature: you can also see the texture.

It is precisely these shots that are so often forgotten: even though they are decisive for many buyers.

But it doesn't just work with a clean look.

Sometimes the setting is juicy, sometimes it's loud, sometimes it's cozy or full of blotches - depending on what you want your brand identity to radiate.

It can be part of a campaign, a season or your entire brand DNA.

The decisive factor is that the photo must be so good that your product not only ends up in the shopping cart , but is proudly displayed.

By the way, we've taken some more shots for another client that are so on point that we can hardly wait to show them - as soon as the products are launched, you'll be the first. Including the entire brand(ing) story!

💥 Why this is so important

In milliseconds, a photo decides whether someone scrolls further - or buys.

A bad picture? Costs you sales.
A strong image? Picks people up, makes them curious and ensures that magical click on "Add to cart".

Product photos don't just sell products.
They sell your entire promise.

✨ What makes good photos?

A setting that fits your vibe perfectly - whether loud, quiet, clean, edgy or cozy.

Light that celebrates the texture instead of hiding it. Details that make you want to pick up the product immediately.

Good photos are not an obligation.
They are the invitation that no one wants to refuse.

💬 Questions for you

  • Would someone pin your photo, save it or add it to their story?

  • Does your photo look like a store picture - or like a "want to have" moment?

  • Is your photo really selling - or is it just filling space on your product page?

🏁 Conclusion

Product photos are not a silent gallery.
They are your loudest salesperson.

If the image is convincing, the text hardly has to do any work.
Because people have long since decided: That's what I want.

Until next week - stay brave, stay desirous, stay you.
